Our Mission is to feed the Hungry of the Comfort area by providing food assistance. Founded over 25 years ago by a group of Comfort area churches, the Table and Food Pantry is now it's own independent non profit organization.
The Food Pantry is located in a trailer in the Immanuel Lutheran Church parking lot at 318 High St. and is open three a week a week providing nutritious food for needy people. Food is sent home with Comfort elementary students each Friday to ensure that they have access to food on the weekend via our Back Pack program.
With the continuing uncertainty and ongoing economic crisis's, we are purchasing more food than usual due to the demand. We have seen a 25% increase in visitors and expect that to increase. Your donation will help us be able to put food in the homes of the people most effected.
