Feeding People...it's our Mission.
No one should have to go without food. Whether the person is elderly and their social security check just won't stretch enough... a single Mother trying to feed her kids ... layoffs happen ... homelessness ... even the working poor ... anything can happen to cause a need for assistance.
The Comfort Food Pantry feed approximately 130 families each month. We send food home with approximately 90 students at Comfort Elementary and Middle School each week via our Backpack program so they will be fed on the weekends. The Comfort Table prepares and serves approximately 120 - 150 meals each week at our Wednesday evening Community meal. As our mission grows, so does our determination to ensure that we can feed the hungry of Comfort.
